Lagoon Royal is a shipyard whose history originates as far as back as 1783 with production facilities are located in Kherson, Southern Ukraine. It specializes in building certified exclusive handcrafted boats and yachts from Mahogany solid wood. Our company continues Kherson yacht building traditions began in 1778 with decree of the Great Queen Catherine II «on selection of place to build the haven and shipyard in the estuary and naming said place Kherson». The first vessel «Vivat Catherine» was launched in 1783 and became the first ship of the Black Sea Fleet… The accumulated experience and knowledge was passed from one generation to another, from fathers to sons. Currently, professionals of the highest class and successors of more than 200-year dynasties of Kherson shipbuilders are working at Lagoon Royal shipyard. Our company not only preserves the knowledge, experience and traditions it inherited but also brings into yacht building industry everything new that modern science, technologies and design can offer.

Lagoon Royal shipyard builds wooden yachts, both sailing and motor, up to 25 m long, upon any world design, within optimal short terms. Yacht building program developed by Lagoon Royal is oriented towards classical, retro models and forms. Hence the selection of material used to build yachts — valuable exotic wood. Traditional, classical retro shapes of yachts and boats attract with their esthetics and beauty and are like out of this time. Today, these shapes are at the peak of their popularity and experience real boom.

Certification

All our products have a CE certificate. The shipbuilding process from the phase of designing to the phase of commissioning our vessels are supervised and certified by Bureau Veritas. All company specialists are certified to perform the appropriate type of work and have the highest qualification in their profession.

Service

Production policy of Lagoon Royal shipbuilding company is aimed at satisfaction of needs of the most demanding clients. It means not only creation of the high-quality product but also the full range of post-sale services. In December 2005 the company opened its representative office Lagoon Royal Europe SPL in Florence, Italy. Service center for European clients is located in Lavania.

Equipment and materials

Lagoon Royal shipyard works with more than 20 suppliers of equipment and materials used to build yachts and speedboats. All of them are one of the leaders in their respective fields.

It includes Volvo Penta and Man engines, Mastervolt electrical equipment, West System epoxy resins, Awl Grip lacquers and paints, Rondal hatches, Harken and Lewmar deck equipment, mahogany wood, Sommerfeld tick, Raymarine navigation, etc.
